In Episode #136 proudly recorded in The Less Desirables Studios at The Lab at Industry Hill:
Tim and Ray talk about:
Don’t forget our sponsors:
Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Healthy, grilled meats, wood-fired pizzas, fresh ingredients, and phenomenal wine dinners. That’s just some of the offerings of Carrabba’s and Daniel Butner, the local proprietario, is salt of the earth and a pillar of good in the community. Go taste the goodness that is Carrabba’s and see why Tim and Ray are always talking it up!
Washington Perk & Provision Company. Better than a convenience store but not quite a grocery store, in the heart of Washington Park and Downtown WSNC.
The Humble Bee Shoppe is challenging your perception of scratch made and leaving you with an experience you couldn’t possibly forget! With inventive flavor combos and a sense of artistry, The Humble Bee Shoppe isn’t your average bakery.
The Man Who Ate the Town is part of The Less Desirables Network. Give it a listen on iTunes, Stitcher, Podcast Addict and TuneIn, basically anywhere you can listen to podcasts. Or you can listen here (at the bottom of the post).

I didn’t get the info in time to make this week’s podcast, but it looks as if Duck Donuts opened this morning in the new Burke Mill Village shopping center where Academy Sports, Guitar Center and more importantly, Viva Chicken (this is a food blog, right?) are just off Stratford Road.
Duck Donuts has been running the Duck Truck in the area for a little bit and patrons of the truck and people that have had the donuts from the coast have been itching for this to open.
So, welcome Duck Donuts to WSNC!!
Hello listeners, readers, followers, friends, sponsors.
Just to let you know, if you were looking for a new podcast episode today, we didn’t record one.
Tim has been dealing with what his wife is calling tracheal bronchitis and he’s not fully recovered.
We’ll be back next week for the last TMWATT episode of 2019.
In the meantime, we’d appreciate it if you visited Washington Perk, Humble Bee Shoppe and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
Speaking of Carrabba’s, don’t forget the TWO Beringer wine dinners, one tomorrow December 10 and one next Tuesday, December 17. Find out more and make reservations visiting here.
Also, they will be having the Feast of Seven Fishes on Wednesday, December 18. Find out more and make reservations here.
Again, thank you for all you do for us, thank you for reading, thank you for listening!
Bon appetit!
The cheerleaders at Carver High School in Winston-Salem are in need of new uniforms or uniforms at all.
Zesto Burgers & Ice Cream will be doing “Spirit Week” to benefit the CHS cheerleaders in order to help them obtain these uniforms.
This week, Tuesday, December 3 through Saturday, December 7, Zesto Burgers will donate a portion of all its sales for this cause. So, I invite you to run by one of my favorite places to eat and help them do good work for the CHS cheerleaders.
Zesto is located at 2600 New Walkertown Road.
