From a press release from Buie’s Market (psst… they’re still open!!):
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we want to assure you that we are taking significant precautionary measures and adhering to recommendations from public health officials, as well as continuing to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
In addition to using pre-existing good hygiene practices, we will be making the following changes in-store to help reduce the potential spread of the virus:
- All refrigerator in door handles will be regularly sanitized as well as all publicly used surfaces.
- All coffee and creamer will be poured from behind the counter.
- We will be taking orders for product over the phone for car side pick up as needed. We are available to help with any needs our customers may have and we are exploring various options to continue to serve our customers.
We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to modify our processes to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in our stores. We are currently still open and will continue to serve our customers with the health and safety of our customers and staff in mind.
Our staff is available to answer any questions.
