Camino Bakery Opens Fourth Street Location

It’s been nearly 3 months and we can’t wait to get back into the place we call our first home 😭 Please read below some information regarding the opening of 4th St:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🚀 4th St will have the same hours as Brookstown, 8am – 1pm, every day
🚀 Take-out will be the ONLY option for ordering (no curbside or online ordering for this location)
🚀 Masks are required when entering
🚀 No seating available (yet! possibly some outdoor patio seating available next week, tbd)
🚀 We will have a limited menu here as we do at Brookstown
🚀 There is an “in” and “out” flow to entering the shop; please look at your feet for directional arrows on the ground
🚀 Please keep your distance and stand on a yellow “x” when in line.
🚀 We will have beer 🍻 and wine 🍷 to purchase and take home!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you for your continued support and understanding in this pandemic. We love you! See you tomorrow!

Camino Bakery to Offer Limited Services at Brookstown Location

This from Camino’s Facebook:

Well Winston-Salem, it’s time to do what we do best again. Bake bread, make coffee, bake all the sweets you can think of, and see you face to face!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Please read the entirety of this post for all the details AS OF RIGHT NOW!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On May 28, we are re-opening our Brookstown location ONLY. We don’t have an exact timeline for 4th St and the Hospital, so bear with us as we see how this goes at Brookstown for now. There will be 3 ways you can order from us:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥐 CURBSIDE – same hours as our store hours (which are TBD)
☕️ TAKE-OUT (masks required!) – come in and order
🍪 ORDER ONLINE – pick up as soon as 20 min after ordering (details on this coming soon)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As of now, we are not allowing any dining-in, even with Phase 2 starting. Our menus will be stripped back a little and you can find those (bread menu included) on the website, soon.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
THANK YOU for remaining so faithful and supportive of Camino in this unpredictable time. THANK YOU in advance for your grace as we are again in uncharted territory! And THANK YOU for your patience as we are hammering out all the details over the next several days!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
See you SOON! 💘

Camino Bakery Updates

Sad news from Camino Bakery:

Ugh. These spaces are so precious to us. But more important are the souls that fill them every day, every season, every year. It is because of our deep desire to keep our employees and customers safe, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We WILL be back. And when we’re back, you can believe that we will delight in our wonderful community more than ever.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Closing dates:
Hospital location will close Friday, 3/27 at 6pm
4th St location will close Saturday, 3/28 at 6pm
Brookstown location will close Tuesday, 3/31 at 6pm
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Many of you have kindly asked how you can support us during this crisis. We are so grateful for all the generosity this community has already shown us. Here are some additional ways to make sure that Camino will be able to come back stronger than ever after coronavirus!
• Visit us over the next few days. Consider buying wine, coffee beans, and whole quiches or cheesecakes to get you through long days indoors!
• Buy gift cards. You can buy these in person or online under the Store tab.
• Buy special edition Camino t-shirts or hats from our Merch Fundraiser with Machine Gun Graphics. Link in bio.
• Donate to the Venmo account we set up for our staff. Find us at @Camino-Bakery-1.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
See you soon. Love always, Camino Bakery Team.

We can grind them for you to whatever setting you need or leave them whole bean. Wine! Swing by and grab a few bottles of your favorite red or white to get you through being stuck at home.

Buy gift cards: We are now offering buy a $50 gift card and get a $10 gift card free. You can purchase these in-store or online on our website.

Help via donating: We’ve set up a Venmo account for those who want to donate to Camino for our staff who are experiencing cut hours or want to remain home for the sake of their health and safety. Find us at @Camino-Bakery-1.

Camino Bakery Announces New Co-Owners

l-r: Poe-Crawford, Clifford, Warner

Cary Clifford, the founder and owner of Camino Bakery announced today that she is being “joined” by two new co-owners. I say joined because the two are already deeply ingrained in the Camino family.

Jordan Poe-Crawford and Lisa Warner, who are already the General Manager and Business Manager, respectively, have been with the company for some time.

Clifford says in a press release: “I’m grateful for everything they’ve done over the years to make sure our lights stayed on, and I’m so happy that they’ve signed on to this great adventure for the long haul!”

In business for over ten years, Camino Bakery has locations on 4th Street, Brookstown Avenue and in the Baptist Hospital.
